She also regularly shares DIY craft projects, tips, tutorials and loves proving that nearly any project can be done DIY style with a high-end feel, yet inexpensively. One of her favorite and most popular DIY home improvement projects to date is a kitchen remodel in her previous home that only cost only $500, and was featured in a Better Homes and Gardens Magazine.
She and her husband Ted recently bought a fixer upper near Kansas City and they’ve been updating every room in the house on a budget, while documenting each project on the blog along with before and after photos. Her favorite DIY projects to date in the new house are the DIY kitchen gut and remodel—which saved them $50k by doing it mostly themselves.
